the human rights campaign is throwing L word screening events all around the country (there are 3 in my home state of north carolina!) however, the flagship party in new york city was up in the air for a bit, because CROBAR, the venue hosting the event, was shut down by the police.

that stinks. i've always been meaning to check out crobar - that place always books world class DJs. however, i've always created excuses not to go, because i am an old fart and hate club kids. c'est la vie. the L word season 4 premiere party seemed like a good compromise. crobar without the club kids. and now this has been taken away from me.

i'm so annoyed that i want to file a frivolous civil rights lawsuit against the city. hell, SOMEONE's gotta respond to it. maybe i'll sign it "the ghost of steve rubell."
