I wish they could have dredged up a better example of a doctor flouting the rules of the nefarious insurance system than one who prescribed TEN extra sleeping pills.
well, that might be difficult. one of the things mentioned in the article is that there could be real and dire consequences for any doctor who openly admits to doing things like this. it might be easier for them to gather up more compelling stories about doctors breaking the rules to help the patients get the care they need if the Globe promised them anonymity.
