An Inconvenient Truth

this morning, i am angry. i am angry at the willful blindness of politicians and the poor research skills (at best) and the deliberate deception (at worst) of mainstream journalists. i am angry at the lack of vision of politicial consultants who advised al gore to be something other than himself during the 2000 presidential campaign. i am angry at political pundits and paid lobbyists who frame the matter of dealing with global warming as a false choice between the economy and the environment. i am angry at the republican party for being unable to speak of morals without obsessing over the sexual behavior of other people when they have nothing to say about the moral imperative of protecting the environment we need for survival.
