Want to Be a WfD Poster?

i need to take a break from my online life. i spend too much time on the computer, and i'm sick of the internet anyway. i want to take a break from the blog. my life is really stressful right now, and i'm finding that my online activities are keeping me from pursuing other interests. lately, i've been feeling like my writing has gone stale, and good ideas for posts have been few and far between.

we here at WfD have been thinking about adding a couple of posters for a while, but we didn't know who would want to spend time writing for a blog that got 20 hits a day (and about half of that were visits from us!). now, we get about 100-150 hits a day, so anyone who joined wouldn't just be talking to themselves (and us) all the time. i also would feel bad about leaving readers high and dry. not that i feel like we're an essential part of anyone's day or anything. :-)

we want posters who are gay-friendly, trans-friendly, feminism-friendly, and, of course, sympathetic to the ideals of liberalism. if you've been reading us for any substantial length of time, you'll understand why those things are important to us. we don't want to substantially alter the spirit of the blog, but we need some fresh voices on here. WfD has been around for 1 and a half years, and it needs a shake-up. please email spacebaby@mindless.com if you're interested.
