today's useful word of the day is tznius. what is tznius? it's a term referring to modesty, specifically of a highly conservative jewish woman. much as with highly conservative muslim women, tznius women cover their hair (though not their throats or faces) and wear loose and obscuring clothing down to their wrists and ankles. here's a pictorial comparison:

incidentally, they also have a tasteful array of other slogans: "everything i know about judaism i learned from the protocols of the elders of zion", "ramah / ram allah girls are easy" (one for each offended religious group), and, my favourite by far, the "i don't roll on shabbos" classic.
