dream #1:
i walked through cambridge and boston, which looked completely different from the way they do in waking life. there were fruit trees everywhere, but most of them were on private ground. i was very tempted by some beautiful, large golden apples, so i stole some of them off a privately owned tree and fled before i was seen. i greedily devoured them, though they were nearly the size of cantaloupes.
later, i found a walnut tree behind someone's house where they kept a composter. i began gathering walnuts which were still covered by their hulls. the hulls stained my hands yellow with their juice. i noticed that the concrete patio where i was collecting the walnuts was filthy, and in one section there was an unmistakable smear of dog feces. disgusted, i left the walnuts where they were and made my way to a nearby enclosed veranda. inside there were toys and children's desks covered in dirt and mold. i was angry because this was where poor children were forced to play and learn.
dream #2:
i lived in a post-industrial world where electricity and motorized transport were a luxury and the nights were long and dark. i was a cocky teenage girl surviving on my own. i had been convicted of a crime and my punishment was to be burdened always with a heavy and useless bag, which i could not put down without the authorities knowing. the burden was not so great that i couldn't move quickly when needed, but the additional energy requirements of lugging it around made my survival more difficult than before. food was not easy to come by in the first place and carrying this extra weight required that i consume more calories than normal.
at the end of the dream, i encountered the judge who had sentenced me to carry this burden. she was with two other judges in a luxury shopping center where the privileged and powerful entertained themselves. she and one of the two judges with her were snotty and passive aggressive in a southern debutante kind of way. i was enraged with her. since there was no penalty for having a smart mouth, even with a judge, so i excoriated her for punishing me so harshly. i told her that people like her were cruel and evil. i relished the look of pale shock on her face and the face of her equally haughty companion. the second judge who was with her, however, had an expression of pained pity on her face, and she followed me out of the shopping center because she wanted to help me.
dream #3:
i saw this dream as if it were a movie. in this setting, gasoline was very expensive. two men conspired to steal the gasoline out of a tanker truck with a female driver. they developed a secret sign language to communicate with one another. one of the men approached the woman and convinced her to have sex with him. while they were having sex inside the truck, the other man was supposed to empty the gas tank.
during his sexual encounter with the female truck driver, the first man gave the go ahead signal with one hand out of a window in the truck. however, the second man was caught while stealing the gasoline and taken away. the first man continued to maintain a relationship with the driver and never told her that he was involved.
the truck driver was very shaken by the attempted theft because she couldn't afford to refill the gas tank. she went for a swim in a lake next to the parking lot where she had parked her truck. while she was dancing around in the water in a bikini, she began to fart loudly. soon, there were half a dozen bikini clad women dancing in the water, all farting loudly.

1) boston is very cold right now. you wish it were warm enough for human habitation. hence, the fruit trees.
2) you should really be eating more vegetables and fruit.
3) poverty stinks.
4) "i lived in a post-industrial world where electricity and motorized transport were a luxury and the nights were long and dark." welcome to NYC in january!!!
5) "i saw this dream as if it were a movie. in this setting, gasoline was very expensive." sorry, but i think this one wasn't a dream...
6) "soon, there were half a dozen bikini clad women dancing in the water, all farting loudly." since gasoline is so damn expensive, it's the only way people can afford to have a bubble bath.
2) you should really be eating more vegetables and fruit.
that's the thing. i eat an average of 3 fruits a day and a couple of veggies too. maybe it's just that i like fruit a lot.
6) "soon, there were half a dozen bikini clad women dancing in the water, all farting loudly." since gasoline is so damn expensive, it's the only way people can afford to have a bubble bath.
maybe my brain is suggesting that i design a way to harness farts as energy so they can replace gasoline.
