some "free market"...



if the market were truly free, we'd have cars like this in america. a $2,500 car that gets 50 miles per gallon EXISTS. it's not theoretical... it's here. whatever regulations that are preventing micro cars from being imported or manufactured in the united states need to be dropped immediately. i don't want to hear the usual nonsense about safety features. if people are allowed to ride motorcycles, bikes, skateboards and rollerblades on the streets in rush hour traffic, they should be able to drive these tiny cars as well.

The easy answer is that, even without an extradition treaty, a nation may ship you back to the US when the US says you're a criminal. It might be trickier in terms of law and politics, but it can happen.
