When Adults Don't Grow Up

two teenaged girls had an on-again, off-again relationship. the parents of one girl set up a fake myspace account of a handsome teenage boy to gain the confidence of the other girl. the girl, who struggled with self-esteem problems for most of her life, was ecstatic that a good-looking boy thought she was attractive. then the adults posing as the boy turned on the girl and proceeded to bully her, telling her that she was a horrible person who treated her friends badly. the girl, aged thirteen, committed suicide as a result. at one point, the mother of the other girl said that she felt less guilty about what she and her husband did when she heard (erroneously) that her victim had attempted suicide before.

junior high never ends. it goes on and on without end.
