because of a last-minute decision by wal-mart to release sales figures of some old dudes called the eagles' comeback album (was i even alive when "hotel california" came out?), britney spears' "blackout" opens at #2 on the billboard charts.
britney spears just can't catch a break! it's like the curse of the mummy - or in this case, the curse of the mummified 70s rock band.
anyway, her single "gimme more" is a real club banger. i was at girlnation this past weekend, and as soon as "gimme more" started playing, everyone started pawing and grinding each other, which i suppose is the intended effect of the track.
