they DO exist!

this blog post contains the most entertaining two paragraphs i have read today. apparently, lady sovereign had a breakdown at a show in brooklyn in front of a crowd of hipsters. i direct your attention to the following excerpt written by someone who was in the audience:

Yo that was pathetic. I can't believe you'd diss youself so hard in Williamsburg. Don't you know that you had a crowd of about 500 tastemakers there just for you? I thought you were someone who mattered. How wrong I was. Go fuck yourself.

Lady, your days are numbered. You just flipped the bird to Williamsburg, the center of the universe. You're over sweety. As a matter of fact, enjoy the pictures that follow this post, cuz they are the last you will ever see. Enjoy!
people like this really DO exist in williamsburg. it's not a myth perpetrated by gawker. and the comments are no less bizarre. i feel like dian fossey discovering a new society of gorillas. it's so exciting!

all righty... doot dee doot... retraction: apparently, the blog post itself is satire. however, some readers, including myself, initially took an opposite view, probably because the comments in said blog post responded so fervently and earnestly, instead of "heh heh." apparently, i can't tell if someone is being "ironic." i also do not understand the use of digital pictures of turkey tacos as a satirical tool; however, pictures of turkey tacos are funnier than anything that ever came out of sarah silverman's mouth. nevertheless, whether the lady sovereign post was satirical or not, it was funny, and i laughed. fin.

what a bunch of twerps.

i wish i had time to blog these days. i'm brimming with things to say. normally, this is where i'd say that i hate my life, but Dan gets upset about that.

i don't really even hate my job anymore. i'm just dead tired of R&D and the insane hours right before a big product release. i'd better get a nice fucking bonus and all of this overtime as time off when this shit is over.

Pixxiestails is satire. Really funny if you are a regular reader.

ah, so it's "all so meta"? you're telling me everyone in the comments section is in on the joke too? that's one elaborate piece of satire...

apparently, brooklyn vegan didn't "get" it either, nor did their commenters.

is there a secret brooklyn cabal of non-hipsters dedicated to mocking hipsters by pretending to be hipsters? that just makes my head hurt...

anyway, i gave it a second look. i just read like ten random posts on pixxiestails. suffice to say, if this blog is satire, the humor is lost on me. it looks like a bunch of people hanging out in brooklyn making turkey tacos. also, it would help if i knew what the "skybar" was and why the mere mention of it is so funny.

It's ok. You'll be allright. Breathe Em!

Ps: brooklyn vegan lifts music pics off of pixxiestails all the time. I told Tim you hate his comment and he says "who the fuck cares, I am going to Figi tomorrow!"

so wait... which blogs are real and which ones aren't? if i am to offer a retraction, i'd like to know what to retract.

i haven't been so confused since watching a david lynch film.

Tim's comment=completely ironic and hilarious. I say this with some authority as I am his ex. I almost died laughing when I read that shit.

I don't know what to say if you can't see the humor in turkey tacos. And Williamsburg Tastemakers, come on, Tim is hilarious. He just made that up. Do you really think any of us give a rats ass about Lady Sov? It was FUNNY.
Oh and I am not a hipster.
