giuliani folds under pressure, does a 180 and comes out against civil unions in new hampshire, probably because he said (around two weeks ago) that public funds should be used to allow poor women to get abortions.

flip-flopping doesn't get anyone anywhere.
too bad. i thought giuliani could have been the catalyst for the tide turning in the republican party, at least with respect to gay rights. even george w. bush has voiced support for same-sex civil unions.
