addendum.

emily1 pointed out that some of ann coulter's advertisers have pulled their ads. now i'd like to take a few seconds to point out how ms. coulter is all about the free market. (read the entire thing. just divorce yourself from the fact that it is ann coulter'a column, and you'd swear it was satire.) what are you gonna do when market forces work against you?

omg dilemma!

(for the record, although i generally think ann coulter is vile, her last column about global warming wasn't all that terrible... for ann coulter. i'll admit i agree the glitterati are divorced from the realities of regular folks, and a person who can afford a mansion lecturing someone with limited means to use their money for socially conscious endeavors when they can't afford it is rude and hypocritical. and i did catch her vague articulation of the undercurrent of disdain and snobbery rich liberals have about people who live in suburbia, branding them as "tacky" and gauche, which is something i ranted about before. but the implication that one only has a choice between "hybrid cars" v. "SUV"s shows that she is part of the glitterati she pretends to despise. what? she's never heard of cars like the honda civic, a non-hybrid economy car that gets 44 miles per gallon on the highway, and costs as low as $15k? please. and of course, there's the usual hyperbolic nonsense.)

i'm going to stop. bah, it's too easy.
