check out this thread on free republic. many people acknowledge the ridiculousness of the more extreme reactions, but others are calling for dick cheney to resign "for the good of the party." this isn't the onion or science fiction!
and on townhall.com, something even funnier! the article is entitled: "mary cheney's pregnancy affects us all." no joke! i am concerned that the concerned women of america are batshit crazy and are unaware that they are batshit crazy.

I am seriously biting my nails right now -- sooo tempted to click on those links, but also knowing how reading free republic will make my eyeballs bleed and gets me on the verge of apoplexy with its outrageousness. I know, I should be able to just laugh at it, right? It is all pretty funny how one little lezbaby can get people SO lathered up!
after seeing "borat" i have come to the conclusion that these people exist for comic relief. thank you, sacha baron cohen!
and i doubt the kid will want for much. she'll have two parents, probably a nanny (or a manny), and be the heir to all that halliburton money! let's hope she doesn't go the paris hilton route.
