so i took a trip to the apple store in paramus, nj only to discover that they have not received their first shipment of the 80 gig behemoth. i went back home and placed an order online around 9pm saturday. i received an e-mail this morning saying that my package has shipped, and when i tracked it, i discovered that the origination was shanghai. wicked!
check this map out.
if apple manages to get packages to people in the u.s. in two days from a factory in shanghai, why can't amazon.com get packages to me from a warehouse in kentucky in two days?

when i ordered my ibook online i chose the "ground" shipping because it was the cheapest. when i tracked it, i noticed it was shipping from taiwan, and island. somehow it still managed to get to me. it wasn't even wet. i'm still trying to figure out where that land bridge is from taiwan to philadelphia
we taiwanese are crafty.
