so there was a plot uncovered that named the PATH train as a target. the plan was to destroy a tunnel to lower manhattan, with the ultimate goal of flooding the financial district. except there is one problem. according to the aforementioned article, the financial district is located above the hudson river. topographical maps show this as well. also, most of the tunnel is UNDERWATER. water will not flow UP. water will simply flow into the cavernous area where empty space would have been. now, part of the PATH stations may be flooded, if the entrance of the tunnel is below sea level, but not the parts above sea level. half-way flooding the PATH stations is a far cry from flooding the entire financial district.

public announcement to the violent wackjobs behind this plot: lower manhattan is not a "bowl shaped city." the laws of physics are not in your favor.

the only thing in history that has managed to flood lower manhattan is a hurricane in 1821. so why don't you abandon your little terror plot, just go sit in your backyard, and pray to allah for a category 5 hurricane to hit manhattan. you're more likely to get results by talking to an apparition for intervention than thinking up silly man made plots to turn lower manhattan into post-katrina new orleans.
