and so does my writing sample for the 1L writing competition. not that i use it anymore, but the law contained within it is, as of today, closer to hamster bedding than good law.

(a great collective wail is emitted from the mouths of destitute law students who can no longer nab their classmates' criminal procedure books for free, expecting it to be current. n.b. this isn't the first search and seizure case to come up this cycle. it's the third or fourth. i can't remember, but the high court has been giving more power to the po' po' in general.)
