NGLTF stands up to the Democrats for taking us for granted.

You know... I've come to disagree with the contingent who says you must vote for Democrats, because they are the best option. No, they are not. There are other options, like not voting at all and voting for someone from the Green Party or the Libertarian Party. Casting your votes for Democrats, who then turn around and do nothing, and then CONTINUING to vote for them, will only allow them to take us for granted.

If we all just stood together and said, "Hey, we're not going to vote for you or give you money if you don't work towards our goals," they might actually listen. Frankly, they need our votes, and they think they have ours in their pocket. They think they can take our money and do nothing. I say we don't vote for them, and then they'll know we're needed.

We can simply write our Democrat leaders letters saying we're staying home from the polls, or we can cast protest votes for third party candidates (and let them know that we are). We can be counted without voting for them.
