one of our favorite right wing shills, ms. malkin, is clearly in the wrong here. however, i am depressed that within an hour or two one poster said that she needed the duke lacrosse team treatment. another poster actually took the time to post a link to his blog announcing that he had called her a 'cunt' in a post.
now, someone please explain to me why the 'rape culture' is a myth? these attitudes were voiced by so-called progressives.

eh. people are the same on either side of the political divide. there are many well meaning rational people, but there are also screaming asshats in any camp.
i am guilty of calling ann coulter a bulldyke by the way. wrong on so many levels, but i will admit that i find it funny. =P
sorry. to sum it up -- some students protesting the presence of military recruiters on campus made up a press release with their personal contact information in it. she posted it at her website, and her readers began calling the students and making death threats. they called her and asked her to remove the information, and her response was to post it again.
"... because both exceed the quota of 'questionable words' for my web filter."

neither can i. i immediately expressed my disgust in a reply. because i don't have trusted user status at daily kos, i simply couldn't troll rate his comment. thankfully, two users with TU status troll-rated it within seconds after i posted my reply, so the whole thread was hidden from view. i really like the new rating system, but i miss having the ability to down-rate a comment as a regular user.
