a vote for bush was a vote for this. i swear on all that's good that i will rip out the eyes and tongue of the next person who utters the phrases 'just blowing off some steam' or 'just some frat boy hazing' in reference to abu ghraib. as a female, i don't find that comforting because women are drugged and raped at frat parties all the fucking time. please, spare me your tortured reasoning for why you support this. the next person to say, 'this always happens in war' will earn my undying hatred and contempt. care to explain how knowing exactly what would happen during this war makes it 'okay'? fuck you. fuck you. fuck you. fuck you.

I actually couldn't finish reading it. I have issues with rape. I have issues with rape being acceptable by our government. I have issues with those that should be setting a good example of what our country is about, doing this sort of thing.
I don't understand how any male can do this. Do they not have mothers? Sisters? Daughters?? How would they feel if this happened to a loved one of theirs?
There definitely needs to be more coverage on this, but I just can't bring myself to finish reading it.
ya know... i saw a court case from 1983 that had ashcroft as the defendant. and rumsfeld has been around since the vietnam war. ya mean these people have been running this country off an on since the 70's and the 80's - using dopes as figureheads? blah!!! how depressing.
