i'm sure you all know about the slain pregnant woman by now. what irks me is that the left and the right want to bring in the whole abortion debate into this horrific crime. really, it's disgusting. the next idiot leftie who yells at me for calling the kid a "baby" and screams about abortion rights will get smacked. hard. did the expectant mother CHOOSE to be slashed to bits by a psycho intent on abducting her child? how is this related to a woman's choice to have an abortion? if you even say "privacy rights" i will laugh in your face. and the next idiot rightie who insists that i refer to the kid as a "baby" and not a "fetus" will also get smacked. yeah, i KNOW it's a fuckin' baby, but until the baby actually exists as a separate being, it's a fuckin' fetus, okay? it WAS a FETUS, and now it is a BABY. go look this shit up in webster's dictionary if you're confused.
if you knuckleheads can't distinguish a revolting murder/kidnapping from a woman's right to choose, then you are a bunch of morons.

What does abortion have to do with this?? Someone brutally murdered a woman to take her baby from her. Simple. End of story. This is in no way an abortion issue.

here's the background info for this mini-rant. i was watching the news with a friend, and the news said that a "baby" had been stolen. said friend, whom i dearly love, but whose politics can get a little loopy, started yelling at the screen saying that the right wingers have usurped the airwaves and that they need to use the term "fetus" - because fetuses aren't human beings and if a fetus were determined to have rights, then abortion would be at stake.
then i have been surfing the net and came across a couple of right wing blogs who were upset at news sources that claimed that a "fetus" had been stolen, because it implied that the kid was not a human being and all the lefties care about is abortion. they even had a problem calling an unborn child a "fetus" - WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT AN UNBORN CHILD IS! has panic over the abortion debate made these people retarded?
now, i think both camps are on crack. does anyone see that a young mother has been murdered, her child ripped out of her womb by a lunatic? this is a brutal crime, and to even equate this with "sphere of privacy" and "the rights of fetuses/babies/whaever as it relates to abortion" is just ridiculous.
