they will.
not only will they go there, they won't even be properly ashamed of it. they'll sell you tickets to let you see them go there.
while watching the earthsea miniseries on the sci-fi channel with em0 last night, i saw an ad for an original sci-fi channel movie -- puppet master vs. demonic toys. it's a christmas special!
i sooooo don't regret giving up tv.

Was it just me, or did the Earthsea ending kinda suck? I was majorly disappointed with how it ended.
the whole miniseries seemed 'rushed.'
when ged let out a nameless one he runs for like 15 minutes until he finds his old teacher who says, 'turn around and chase the demon!' ged's response is, 'yes, master! that will solve my problem!'
i felt that i was owed more angst and pissing terror before he accepted this challenge.
the ending was even more rushed.
evil warrior: let out of the nameless ones so that i can live forever!
the others: no we will resist you!
ged, changing his mind inexplicably: no wait! let's release all the nameless ones because if we don't wreak havoc on the world, someone else will!
they let out the demons, and then five seconds later, they figure out where the other half of the magical amulet is.
ged and company: if we make the magical amulet whole again like that old legend, the nameless ones can't wreak havoc! let's do it! yeah!
five minutes later, all is saved. end of story.
