we may be looking at chief justice clarence thomas or antonin scalia sooner rather than later.
anyone else still think the president doesn't affect domestic policy?
and one more gripe... this article - and many others - keep stating that the rehnquist court is known for espousing federalist principles, i.e. empowering states.
and then, often in the same breath, they mention that the rehnquist court took away the power of the florida supreme court to determine the proper procedure of counting florida's votes in bush v. gore.
federalists my little rosy ass.
