The Mastermind With The Failing Kidneys arranged his bloodfest from the blasted wasteland of the modern stone age. as a result, we are more than four thousand dead and twice that wounded -- which, by the way, can mean blindness, brain injury, and missing limbs and genitals. add to the casualty list roughly twice the number of our dead and wounded in shattered sanity, and you'll have the barest inkling of the magnitude of the clusterfuck that is the state of the american empire today.

we are two wars deep in this madness. we've encountered rape, torture, and murder -- war crimes all. the collatoral damage in dead, wounded, and broken in iraq is many times that of our own. specific numbers are hard to come by because our most secretive leadership doesn't want us to look like butchers. we are living in a world that is simply a crime against humanity.

an invalid in a prehistoric cave halfway around the world brought us to this point. someone from the eschaton community, in reaction to the looming end of the assault weapon ban, remarked that our generation represents reverse evolution. frankly, i couldn't agree more. people in this corner of the world have memories that span the vast and endless life of a fruit fly.
