the old geezer says a kerry win will bring a greater chance of a "devastating" terror attack. is he mad?! the terrorists won't be happy unless the entire world either converts to their EXTREME!(tm) radical and perverted version of islam or gets blown up in a cloud of smoke.
i think the real question is: do we want to be a lone wolf going after these psychos or do we want to bring together a pack of wolves to go after them? i think we know who is the divider. how about a uniter?

As wonderful as that sounds, we won't get a pack of wolves if we involve France, Germany, etc. We'll get a couple thousand troops (their armies just aren't that big) and a chunk of change.
You want a wolf pack? That's Russia, China, and maybe India with us; we'd have a couple million troops and the ability to move 'em quickly into Afghanistan or wherever. The only thing is that I wouldn't trust the Russians or the Chinese to be, you know, good on the human rights thing.
