Relief

i am almost embarassed (but not quite) to admit that i felt tremendous relief when my roommate jane called me to let me know that we'd be getting internet access next saturday. i feel like some kind of junkie.

in other news, our elderly landlady told us this weekend that our apartment building is about a hundred years old. i believe it because there is no electrical outlet in the bathroom, and only one outlet in each of the bedrooms. i really think we should get another outlet in each room. the only outlet in the house that isn't the old-fashioned two pronged kind is the one that services the fridge.

all of this makes the presence of high speed internet in this house quite funny.
