Tying "the Ribbon"

tznius.com explains how to tie your headscarf in several ways, but the style i use (no, i'm neither jew nor muslima but it's DAMN COLD OUT) is presented in a terribly-presented manner.

i therefore present the as-sifriyya version of

TYING "THE RIBBON"

disclaimer: all text and images derived from tznius.com; i just reformatted their illegible page and edited some of the text for clarity.

ps: is it me, or does their model bear a striking resemblance to natalie portman?

Step 1: Place scarf over your head with both sides of equal length.Step 2: Switch the two sides & pull the scarf tight at both ends.
Step 3: Grab one side and twist it over the "bun" protruding from the back of your head. Do this two to three times, depending on how much of the scarf you want hanging over your shoulder later.Step 4: Repeat Step 3 for the other side of the scarf.
Step 5: Now take the two sides and tie them once so that they won't unfold while you wear it.Step 6: Gorgeous!
